I would like to my double angles rotated 90 deg and have bolted connection on one side only. Although I have created the model with a rotated double angle in the RAM Connection module it rotates it and put a gusset plate in middle. I don't want that. Also, for the horizontal beam to column conneciton I would like to have angle bolted connection and (stiffener/gusset) plates on the back side of the joint on the column. Please help me out here.

You can rotate the brace in the connection joint dialog, but for a double angles the only options are 0 or 180. 90 degrees would not work.
Within the connection design pad you can choose an angle type connection to the column, or a shear plate.
The stiffener plate on the far side you should just add to your detail, it's not relevant to the program design here.

One more thing i would like to ask that sometimes while checking the results in RAM connection integrated in STAAD it crashes. Any specific reson for that ? Also, is there a way to export these connections to RAM standalone?

We would need to review the file and confirm your product version and steps in order to reproduce the issue (and then fix things). We don't have a way to export it to the Stand-Alone program.
