Hey All,
While Modelling A Building In Staad Connect Edition,
When I Model A Slab Of 5 X 5 m Size In C.E., It Takes The Length As 5.00001 m Irrespective of 5m Length Input, And So It Gives Error While Generating Floor Load With Boundary Of 5 X 5 m.
When I applied Floor Load It Gave An Error As " Unable To Generate Floor Loads " I Further Checked The Same In Staad Editor, Where I Came To Know That The Actual Length is 5.00001 m ( Find Reference Image).
And The Same Length Variance By"0.00001 m" Is Seen In Any Beam.
Please Suggest If This Is A Bug Or If I Have To Make Any Changes.
Regards,
Anand.
Iam not sure but i think the working units are different from setting units
Go to setting and click metric then save

Hello Anand,
This generally happens when you use a separate unit system in the file against the unit system set a base unit. The reason is internal unit conversion.
However as Joseph has mentioned, setting the correct base unit aligned with file unit will solve the problem. You can set the base unit following the steps mentioned in below link.

Thankyou, the base unit were tobe matched with working units.
Thanks.
