Hi all,
I want to know if it is possible to have a plate overhang my beams. The overhang will be 0.3m in the Z direction on both sides. I have tried everything I can think of but I cannot illustrate the plate accurately. When I try to mesh one large plate I receive multiple errors that tell me my plate connection is incorrect and that my loads will not transfer properly. I tried to section off my plate in 3 separate parts but then it does not act has a continuous plate and again, I receive inaccurate results. Can someone help?
