If i design Concrete plates in Staad pro C.E using BS 8007,does the software check for shear directly or i have to do it manually?
Shear check is not performed in BS 8007 in STAAD.Pro CE batch mode.

Is there any technical manual demonstrating the design of plates using BS 8007,or any Ondemand video?
I am not aware of such, but the steps are the same as in any other design code.
I want to assign Scon parameter and crack width for plate element but it does not assign, what maybe the problem?
What do you mean by saying "it does not assign"? Can you attach the model?
staad file attachment
70443.Structure1.STD
May you help me for serviceability interpretation report
what does this mean?
Why do Staad pro plates designed for center stress Mx and My and not corner stress? because in reality the nodes which are present will be acting as a whole slab and not segmented as shown in software?
Here is additional piece of information which I was able to find for BS8007 implementation.
With regards to center stresses, check an explanation provided by SKLose in this discussion: Plate Center Stresses vs. Plate Corner Stresses - RAM | STAAD Forum - RAM | STAAD - Bentley Communities
Thank you one more question,i saw demonstration on how RCDC design water tanks
1.Ultimate design state for flexure
2.crack width due to flexural design
3.Crack width due to thermal effects
4.Crack width due to drying and shrinkage
And sum up the total are required.
Does design of plates consider this approach too?
