Hello,

As per implementation logic, the seismic definition is required. But if you do not provide any seismic definition, the program will consider the default values and will show notes indicating what values the program is using. If you are okay with that, then you do not need to do anything. But if you want to use some other value, please use seismic definition.

Can you give me some suggestions in this regard?

If we only use response spectrum and also consider SEI 1 parameter, whether seismic definition needed or not ? If no seismic definition, this affect the calculation and design results?

Thank you sir. Regarding your reply as follows:

"As per current implementation those values are picked by the program from seismic definition by default. As you are using only response spectrum and there is no seismic definition, program is showing this note to let you know what value it is using. If you add a seismic definition, this note will not be shown."

I just want to know if we only use response spectrum and also consider SEI 1 parameter, whether seismic definition needed or not ? If no seismic definition, this affect the calculation and design results?
