BG splice connection warning

Question

I got this warning while designing beam splice connection (apex): 
 - The connection does not comply with the section depth limits (AISC Design Guide 16 - Table 4-7) 
 My question is that can I ignore this warning given that my connections have no other complications except for this?

The warnings are shown just to notify you that some clauses from the code are being violated. That does not mean the connection to fail. If you are confident and satisfied with the results or you have some other guidelines/ references to believe that the connection is okay irrespective of that depth violation, you can ignore the warning and go ahead. As you can see the warning has been produced with respect to one particular code and may not be an issue with a separate literature.
