Do I need to "Distribute Pressure" prior to sending the model to the analytical modeler? Is this function only used to visually confirm the pressure distribution?
A couple test runs result in the loads being distributed correctly by the analytical model, so I believe it isn't necessary to 'distribute pressure'.
Thanks!
If the load has to be distributed to all 4 edges of the panel, it might not be necessary to use the "Distribute Pressure" option. But, if you need to exclude any of the edges from receiving the loads, you can do it using the "Panel Edges" spreadsheet and then use the distribute pressure option to correctly distribute the pressure on selected edges.
Are you saying that you *must* distribute it prior to sending it to the analytical modeler? To me it appears that once you send it to the analytical modeler, it automatically distributes the load. The "distribute pressure" function seems to only be there for graphical purposes.
I'm just not sure if that is correct.
You are right. It is not a "must".
