As per EN 1992 there is Nominal curvature and Nominal stiffness method.
Which one RCDC uses for column design?

RE: RCDC - Column design method

Hi,

RCDC uses the Method based on nominal curvature for Slenderness calculation for Columns.

Thanks

RE: RCDC - Column design method

Sorry but those two methods are at the design level not analytical. So it should come after analysis and obtained forces.

RE: RCDC - Column design method

Hi,

Both the methods mentioned by you are Methods of Analysis.

RCDC is a design software which just imports the Analysis forces from the STAAD Model or any other Analysis software model and performs the Design with that Forces.

Thanks
