Respected Engineers, How can we incorporate the additional strength available by soil safe bearing capacity into our grade beam and plinth beam structural designs?
Both of the beams can't be treated as simply supported or continuous - as the Grade Beams resting on the ground & the plinth Beams are resting on the Brick walls of the basement. Also, both beams are necessary for a framed structure when the foundations are kept more than 3m Deeper. so, in this situation how can we account for the Support of soil safe bearing capacity in our Grade beam and Plinth beam structural designs?
