RAMSS Truss Modeling - WT sections for Beams

Question

Hi Seth, 
 " Beams in RAM Structural System can only be modeled as I-shapes, HSS (tubes), or channels. It is not possible to model the top chords with any other section, including WT or double angle sections." 
 Is this still the case?. Any work arounds?. 
 
 Is there an option to duplicate/copy once the truss is defined at location to others in elevation mode?. I need to repeat the truss 21 times in the model.

You can make a custom W section with the area and inertial of the Wt you are really going to use (see: https://communities.bentley.com/products/ram-staad/w/structural_analysis_and_design__wiki/3113/ram-table-editing-faq ). For analysis purposes that should be equivalent. If you are trying to do code checks, then another product like Ram Elements or STAAD would be better.
