Hello,

I have checked your model. The structure appears to me as a Retaining wall type.

RCDC has a design facility to design Structural shear walls where in it designs the Vertical reinforcement for Flexure and Links for Shear.

The walls in your model requires designing of Vertical Reinforcement + Horizontal Reinforcement + Shear Links.

The Design and Detailing of such structures is completely different than that of a Structural Shear Wall.

Currently, RCDC doesn't have the facility of designing such walls. But, you can definitely get the Column Design from RCDC.

As of now, you have defined the Walls in STAAD as a regular Parametric Surface walls, RCDC has identified the entire thing as a Combined Wall.

We suggest you to change the sub-type of the Parametric as Tank walls so that these walls will get ignored while reading in RCDC in Column and wall Module and only the Columns will get identified.

To modify the Sub type of Tank Walls in a short way, in the editor file you can

Find - TYPE WALL

and

Replace it with - TYPE WALL SUBTYPE WALL_TANK

I am sharing with you the REVISED MODEL for your ready reference.

By using this Model, you can get the Column Design from RCDC.
