Greetings everyone, I need to develop load analysis and three-dimensional modeling of reinforced concrete frames, and generate reports, for power transformer stations. I would like to know what is the best software option for this case. Thank you.
Attach a example:
I think Staad.pro is the best option for you. I would probably model the whole thing with linear member, tapering the columns if necessary. Then apply the various loads as nodal loads (and self-weight). I assume the forces can all be applied as linear nodal loads and you don't actually need to consider any nonlinear material behavior or load effects. I have seen ADINA used for these types of structures as well, especially where the forces caused from the electrical currents needs to be considered.

Seth, thank you very much! I was looking at some ebooks and the program they normally used was STAAD, for the design of transformer substations. I did not know ADINA, I will start to investigate, thank you very much!
