I am working with an industrial structure with Pseudo flexible diaphragm. I observed an unusual displacement at couple of places in the diaphragm due to nodal loads (RAM generated nodal loads). I tried disconnecting that node from diaphragm

RE: How to remove RAM generated diaphragm nodal forces

Assigning specific frame number for those braces helped. Thank you!

RE: How to remove RAM generated diaphragm nodal forces

In a pseudo-flexible diaphragm analysis the program looks for any frame columns, braces or walls within the area of the diaphragm that are assigned a specific frame number, then assigns a nodal load based on the assigned percentage for that frame. If there are nodes at braces or columns that you don't want loaded, then you might have to assign those lateral members to a different frame number. Or you can always revert to user defined nodal loads (Modeler - Elevation view).
