Hi,Thank you for raising query,The L2 is calculated based on the Clause 13.6.2.4
In the sample calculation,L2 for shorter span is calculated as,8900 / 2 + (450 / 2 + 450 / 2)/2 = 4675 mmWhere,
8900 = c/c span of slab longer direction
450 = beam width on either side of slab longer direction
L2 for Longe rspan is calculated as,8000/ 2 + (450 / 2 + 450 / 2)/2 = 4225 mmWhere,
8000= c/c span of slab shorter direction

I wonder how does rcdc calculated shear design part (Vsx,Vsy). Are they calculated in kN/m?
Hi,Yes. You are correct. the shear transferred to beam is calculated as kN/m and the slab section capacity is also calculated as kN/m.
