Area of Steel Reqd. for Tran. Moment for Load Case ____ exceeds the Maximum Allowable for Element # ______ - STAAD.Pro Connect

Good day.

I was analyzing a model and designing the plates I made at STAAD.Pro Advanced Connect Edition 22.00.00.15. After the run analysis, the result gave the above notice on several plate elements I had.

I modeled the plate elements using parametric models.

Assigned a thickness of 0.15m.

Material is concrete with an fc' of 21MPa.

Steel fy of 275MPa.

Clear Cover is around 25mm to 38mm.

Code is ACI 318-11.

I understand that the required steel for transverse moment for the specific load case exceeds the maximum allowable for that specific plate element.

But may I know how do you obtain the maximum allowable steel area required for the concrete plate element? I was presuming that we're considering the maximum steel ratio.

Or what are the other factors in determining the maximum allowable steel area for a specific plate element considering that its size varies and there were some quite small plate elements.

Thanks in advance.
