Concrete module will not allow me to assign a couple beams in a specific wall and seems to be showing the opening to the right of the opening, see below for image when hovering mouse over the pier while trying to assign coupling beams.
Check that the walls properly align on the edges. Check that the openings above and below the coupling beam also match dimensions. Where I have seen problems like this a tiny skew in the plane of a segmented wall or a tiny offset in the opening positions tends to be the cause. You might also try assigning this panel a unique Wall Design Group.
The walls and openings are already in alignment. Assigning it to a unique wall design group doesn't change the weird behavior.
If it's critical, send the file, and let me know where to look along with your product version. In order to fix it I might have to break others things (i.e. new WDG and section cuts).
The panel that isn't working is on grid 12 and I'm working with v17.04. Thank you for your assistance.
I can't tell why that one wall is a problem. I tried removing the gap from the south (i) end since that the free end of the wall anyway, but that alone did not fix it. I tried adding a grid to "panels" at y= 97.3300, then moving thet P12 grid over 2', then back. Still the problem remained.
There are some symmetric walls that you can use for design, I suppose.
Meanwhile, since these are tilt-up walls with end gaps, I think your wall design groups should be reapplied all over. Surely if there are gaps at then ends such that the walls act independently, then the WDG assignments should also be one per wall panel.
