RAM Concept Optimization Precompression Error

When I run an optimization, I'm getting a "Failed: PreComp" error message. I have the minimum set at 125psi. Shouldn't it be finding a value that is above this?

Any ideas on how to avoid this?

Thanks

  • If the minimum and maximum tendon quantity (effective force or number of strands) is set so that a solution with 125 psi can be found. Then, I would expect the optimization feature to resolve the failure.

You may want to double check that an appropriate maximum precompression value is entered and that the max precompression (not the min precompression) is the source of the failure.

If you would like us to review the optimized design, please ZIP the .cpt file with the PTOpt folder saved in the same directory and upload the file using our Secure File Upload
