i have done the rcdc, column and slab but when comes to beam are shown the beam lines is missing
Attach STAAD File
Hello Zhang,
As suggested by Joseph please upload the STAAD file for further investigation. Below are just few suggestions in this case which may be helpful.
1. Check if the level selected is actually having beams in STAAD model. In RCDC even if there is no beam and a node exists in a column, it will show that level in beam module. So double check if you are selecting the correct level.
2. Check if there is any duplicate or colinear beam in the model.
3. Check if the beams are in a single plane.

since this topic is about RCDC Beam Design, am adding a few of my observations too here.
1. for some reason I was unable to generate the elevation view DSF for the plinth beams, where-as the elevations for the Roof beams turned fine (however the details we were able to refer/takeout from the respective BBS too) have attached STAAD & DXF files here (unable to attach RCDC file due to size restriction) Plinth Elevation DXF check.zip
2. (this one is not troublesome, but a bit annoying) say if you have a loooong beam, and you have to change grouping/splitting of the beams, when you are working on the extreme right beam, accidentally if you click the adjacent cell it returns back to the beginning of the beam, and you have to scroll all the way again (this doesn't happen when you click up/down in the same shaded cell group) snap attached sequentially.

3. this is a general suggestion: would be much helpful if an 'Abort' button can be added. because the program takes some time to initiate & run the design, during that time if the user remembers some changes/setting missed, he don't have to wait till the entire design is done, fearing that clicking the program might cause 'Not Responding' and quit abruptly.
