Hi How de we identify and correlate axis as per below snapshots
For a Column/BP placed eccentric to the foundation, the direction of loading would govern the breakout area. How do we correlate axis 2 and 3 with red and blue axis. Is there any way to display the axis on the working screen.
I find it helps to make the column a wide flange, or make a copy of the joint with a wide flange, to check the axis colors.
How did you display 2 and 3 on this working screen? Any shortcut keys?
Come to think of it, If I match the axis orientation in the loading diagram with the one in the working screen, axial with green, that should make red as 2 and blue as 3. Can you please confirm?
I just drew that on by hand, I might have switched it by mistake, I think your line above is correct.
Hi It seems the minor axis (blue) shown on the working interface is wrong. It should be opposite.
Major axis 3 - Red - Transverse;
Minor axis 2 - Blue - Longitudinal
