RAM Concrete Longitudinal Reinforcement ratio

Question

In RAM Concrete, when I specify the Criteria: Column Design: Longitudinal reinf. ratio minimum to 0.005 (meaning 0.5%) it still gives warnings saying I do not have the 1% minimum. Is there a way to specify less than 1% or is 1% the cut off?

With the minimum reinforcement ratio and with clear cover the program will not optimize or select reinforcing beyond the code limits. Those user defined settings are intended where you want to apply more stringent limits only.
