Inconsistent Results Output with Defined Group in Staad.Pro

Hello Bentley community,

I'm encountering an issue with Staad.Pro regarding the inconsistency between a defined group and the results output. I would greatly appreciate any insights or guidance you can provide to help me resolve this problem. Here are the details:

Issue Overview: When selecting a defined group in the results setup, the displayed results include elements that are not part of the defined group.

Steps Taken:

  1. Created a group called "GA" consisting of nodes/members 3 to 5.
  2. In the post-processing mode, selected the load case and chose the range tag.
  3. Selected the group option and specified "GA" as the desired group for results output.
  4. Upon reviewing the results, I found that nodes/members 3, 8, and 9 are included instead of just nodes/members 3 to 5.

Additional Information:

  • I have double-checked the group definition to ensure that only nodes/members 3 to 5 are included, and there are no accidental inclusions or exclusions.
  • I have verified that the correct load case is assigned and considered in the analysis.
  • I have reviewed the post-processing options and filters to ensure that there are no settings affecting the visibility or display of the group results.
  • I am using Staad.Pro CONNECT Edition v22.01, and I have not encountered this issue in previous versions.

I would appreciate any insights, suggestions, or solutions to help resolve this inconsistency between the defined group and the results output in Staad.Pro. If anyone has encountered a similar issue or can offer guidance on how to address it, your input would be highly valuable.

Thank you in advance for your assistance!

Best regards,
