Dear Colleagues, i guess you might have noticed this before.
Just an observation, say if there was an error in Line #1391, we can directly jump to that
respective line by double-clicking the error; however adding/removing the earlier lines
might shift the erroneous line to another location say #1376
But line number in the listed error remains unchanged, and double-clicking the error
goes to the same line where the erroneous command is no more. At present we check
the error backwards, however it would be helpful, if the line number also auto-updates
to reflect the changes within the input editor.
Hello,
Thank you for raising the issue and thanks for testing features into such details. We really appreciate your effort to log such issues.
Here, I was trying to duplicate the issue and was not able to do so may be due to some steps missing at my end. Whenever you change anything in editor it will take effect once you save and close the editor and then open again. I believe you are just saving and expecting the error line number to be changed. If so, you may just close the editor window as well and then again open and the correct line number will be shown. If you are observing something else or expecting something else, please explain to us. May be recording a video will be helpful in this case.

what you said is also true, like, rectifying one error > closing the staad editor > will automatically load the editor with the updated line numbers and the remaining errors... was hoping to avoid the close & open procedure because if the editor is closed without attending to the errors then the commands associated with just disappears...
