if a beam failed in rcdc and i change its size do i need to change its properties in staad before designing the column and footing?
Hello,
RCDC is a design software which uses the analysis results of STAAD model to design the element further. It does not have any analysis engine and hence changing any section in RCDC does not affect the analysis results. So, changing of any section properties should be updated in the STAAD file and then you should redesign the updated model using RCDC for correct results.

Thanks for that!
I still have questions. Can I design COMBINED Footing in RCDC?
Design facility of combined footing is not available in RCDC.
Can I design COmbined Footing with 3 columns using staad foundation? 2 columns at the edge of the footing and1 at the center.
Combined footing can be done in STAAD Foundation Advanced. Some videos in the below link will help you understand the capability of SFA.
