I am analyzing G+2 Building structure. I have applied Floor load by Grouping Method ( Without the modelling of the Plate ). I am getting heavy reinforcement in beam. Kindly help me to find out the reason behind this.
Also, Is this the correct

RE: Query Regarding Application of Floor Loading in STAAD

I calculated total weight of slab ( DL + LL) and put under LL rather than DL and LL seperately. Will it impact on the calculation ?

Please check member no mentioned below regarding higher reinforcement.

The one point I would like to highlight here that the selfweight of the slab should be placed under dead load condition.

Regarding high reinforcement, canb you please point out a member? Consider the span and load 300mm depth seems a bit low. You can try with 350 to 400mm depth which wioll give you lower reinforcement.
