It opens in the editor but the model doesn't open.
I have tried reinstalling the application as well. No luck yet.
I use the below version.

RE: STAAD MODEL DOESN'T OPEN BUT OPENS IN EDITOR

Glad to know this is solved. This happens intermittently but very rare.

RE: STAAD MODEL DOESN'T OPEN BUT OPENS IN EDITOR

Now this issue is solved simply by restarting the computer and updating STAAD to Update 12.
This step could not solve it before but works this time.

I am not sure how it worked this time.

RE: STAAD MODEL DOESN'T OPEN BUT OPENS IN EDITOR

Abhisek M Thank you for your prompt reply and the options.

I tried both of the options you have mentioned but it still doesn't work. The file is processed fully but fails to open. It is minimized at the taskbar and doesn't maximize the STAAD window as well. See the below image.

Actually, the same file opens on another PC. And I also found out that none of my previous STAAD files opens now.

I also tried with updated STAAD.

Do you think this is the issue with the PC or something related to STAAD application?

Thank you in advance.

RE: STAAD MODEL DOESN'T OPEN BUT OPENS IN EDITOR

Can you please upload the file here?

Also you may try the below options.

1. Copy the .std file to a new folder and then try opening it.

2. Copy the text from editor file and then open a new file and paste it in the editor and try.
