I am creating a list of forces with their max axial and shear forces. See below for example of this table :
Is there a way for Staad to compute a similar table? Or at the very least use a simplified way of getting these values?
Please help. I have 32 models with over 100 members with (as you can see) 6 different member types.
1) Go to the Select Load Case icon in the Results menu. In the opened dialog switch to Ranges tab and click on the Property option to select one of the sections.
2) Now go to the Beam Results page and click on the Summary tab in the Beam End Forces table and the maximum results will be filtered to that selected section only.
Thanks Modestas! Exactly what I was looking for.
You may create a macro using OpenSTAAD functions for this task so that the same macro can be used for multiple models and it will minimize the chance of error too.
I am not familiar on creating macro's. Is there some sort of tutorial I can follow for this?
