Column bases (Base plate) & anchor bolts design in RAM connection

1: Can RAM connect Design double layered base plate as shown in below image?

************************************************************************************************
2: can RAM connection design base plate which supports multiple columns on it ?(as shown in below image)

************************************************************************************************
3: can RAM connection design base plate and anchor bolts for liquid retaining steel tanks/ containers ? (As shown in below image)

************************************************************************************************
4:can RAM connection design base plates and anchor bolts of machines equipment as shown in below images?

************************************************************************************************
5: can RAM connection design base plate and anchor bolts of vertical vessel and horizontal vessel?

************************************************************************************************

7: can RAM connection design and all checks of stiffeners and its weld ?

************************************************************************************************

8: by which analysis method, RAM connection design base plates and anchor bolts? Any validation sheet/calculation sheets/formulae is there ?

************************************************************************************************

9: can RAM connection design anchor bolts for Indian codes with all checks ? It decides embedded length of bolt to be provided in RCDC pedestal? Does it checks for failure (conical failure etc.) of concrete through bolts ?

  • Ram Connection uses code-specific design procedures to design base plates. Not all country codes have specific guidance, and in those cases we will fall back to some common standard like AISC, ACI or Eurocodes. Because of this the base plate designs in Ram Connection are limited to standard types of conditions, a single plumb column with or without braces with common stiffener plates in other words. Most of the custom conditions you show above are outside of that scope. A general purpose FEA tool like ADINA is better for the analysis of those conditions. See  Bolt Preload Effect on Fatigue Life

These are the kinds of code checks Ram Conenction performs for pullout of anchors using IS 800 code.
