Hello i would like to know if STAAD advanced Foundation do consider Annex B of API 650 to check these factors during design, as shown in the attached picture below
Any response about this?

To use factors proposed in B.2.2 you need to first know the raw unfactored bearing capacity from your geotechnical partner. Generally, when we say 100 kN/sqm, 150 kN/sqm, etc. these figures, are coming from geotechnical report and they are already factored (reduced) by 2 to 3 by geotechnical expert and after reduction they are in safe range. If you use additional factor on top of it, this would be double factorization. Only when you have the unfactored bearing capacity you can use separate safety factors, per load combination. in SFA, if u go to load combination page, you will find two extra heads - SWF and SBF (Self weight factor and safe bearing capacity factor). use SBF to reduce the factor for each load combination, whether it is hydrostatic or operating or seismic or wind- accordingly.
NOTE- while adding these factors here please add in the form 1/factor form - if you are trying to handle test load and willing to reduce bearing capacity by a factor 2.25, you need to input 0.4444 (which is equal to 1/2.25), coz SFA would multiply this factor with bearing capacity and use.
thank you
