I need small clarification regarding seismic analysis as per IS 1893 part 4 2015 I'm getting the "sa/g" value of hard soil in the results even if select soil type as 2 which means "medium" I need clarification as soon as possible please let me know about it.

You can use this parameter to any random steel structure as your wish. The sa/g value i getting with this parameter is matching with hard soil if i check it manually.
My results below for 5% damping (medium soil) but results are matching with hard soil if i check manually.

For Hard Soil and for this time period (0.99045 sec), Sa/g is (1/T) but for Medium soil, it is (1.36/T) and the Sa/g is matching with (1.36/T)

One small doubt according to the above reply Staad is calculating based on Response spectra formula but if you see the note in the output image it is telling it is using static equivalent method but for static equivalent method, I'm getting same values but why you have used response spectra formula any reason behind it.
