I'm using the built module for NRC 2010 seismic loads in STAAD. When reviewing the output, STAAD correctly calculates the base shear, but is applying many times this load to the structure. The calculated base shear of 76 kN is correct, but the applied loads of 4000 kN are much too high.

I found out that this is a known issue:
This is already reported as a Bug for the development team to address it.
A possible workaround is to remove FA and FV parameters from the seismic definition in the input file.
It looks like the issue is that the base of the structure is set at 545 and not 0
Yes, moving the base of the model to Y=0 coordinate is another possible workaround.
