Hello. I am sure that I am not the only one who has had issues extracting reactions from RAM Frame for use in drawings. I am looking to get a handle on the most recent best practices for the extraction of useful reactions on frame beams for shear, moment and axial conditions that I can put on structural drawings. I was hoping for something similar to how RAM Beam outputs reactions on DXF's, but I am happy to entertain anything that has worked for any of you out there.
Thanks;
Chris
RAM DataAccess can be used to extract member forces in Frame. If you are not familar with DataAccess or don't have a basic understanding of programming, then it will take some time to get up to speed. Here's a link to the DA community if you are interested. In particular, look at the Developer's Guide, DA for Dummies document, and section_replace.xls file to get started using DA.
