I DID have a link from RAM to Revit 2010 until the last RAM update (14.004.01) then everything went wonky. I've reinstalled all 3 programs (RAM, Revit 2010, and Link) and cannot get the RAM/Revit link to work properly anymore, or even install, from what I can gather.
I've tried to install either 3.0 or 3.1 on to Revit 2009 and that does not work anymore either. Installation informs me that install is complete, but there is no extension available on the Revit 2009 menu.
I'm on Windows XP 32 bit
When installing Revit Link 3.1 I get this error installing to both 2009 and 2010:
The file 'C:\Program Files\Ram\RAM Structural System\Manuals\\V3-1-0 Revit Link Release Notes.htm' could not be opened. Please check that your disk is not full and that you have access to the destination directory. Access is denied.
I need go get something (anything) working ASAP. Any suggestions?
James
James,
For the 2010 installation to work we my have to do some manual editing. I will give you a call and I will post the solution later.
Steve
Everything is working great again, better even. Thanks for the help Steve, I'll try and not screw it up this time. :)
