hi everyone,
ne1 can tell me that how can i specify the slenderness ratio in staad for timber design...becaz in my out put file member got passed, but below that there is two strresses has been defined...1 is actual atresses and the another 2nd is allowable stresses.
under allowable stresses all values shown (INCLUDING SLENDERNESS ) as 0.000 ; except FCBY = 1348.205; FV = 80 FCBZ = 1348.205...i can't understand what is going on...is it correctly checked/passed as per code (AITC) or not?
but pls note that i got an example from staad help for timber design option, and when i insert the same in my stadd editior then in the output file slenderness shows = 50.00...WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME...
