Could anyone help me in answering the following question
1. Does Pushover analysis applies to composite structures?
I have a situation where i need to model steel tubular piles with concrete deck.
Necessity of Pushover Analysis: Especially in seismic case , i Have 2 levels of load specifications. For Level I my structure is safe. but for level II its unsafe because of higher base shear. I came to know that i need to model the structure using some plastic hinges which can be done in Pushover analysis. As i am not much familiar with Non linear analysis i thought this would be the right place to seek guidance.
Your suggestions will be of much help.
