Friction losses of horizontal curves RAM CONCEPT

Where and how can i take in count  the  Friction losses of horizontal curves ?

I have to calculate manually and includ in long term losses?..

Parents
  • Concept actually does calculate friction losses for tendons that are not straight in plan. The limitation is only the tendon half spans in the program are always straight lines between two elevation points so true curves in plan are not generally created (you get kinks instead).

The program manual has some details on exactly how this is calculated (check out the FAQ chapter 38, topic “How does Concept calculate friction losses?” in particular).
