yes i know the said thing but in actual practice we have different conditions for plate such as simply supported, fixed etc. then in space frame with the model say 3*3 bay both sides and height of building say 20 meter then in that case if i am using the plate element and applying the pressure then how to assigned the different conditions of plate. i think i have to separately design it or what ? The building may be of composite type. what are the release that have to be made when i am designing it as space frame. i think i have to just tick all (mx,my, fx, fz but not fy & mz particularly for beam ) is it right or not .

At first I will like to remove your misconeption about the RCC plate design, mind it not the steel plate design, is supported by Staad for certain country codes. you are not rquired to design the plate separately. As you assign the command for beam and column design, the plate design can be also assigned similarly. When you open the design command box , you will find plate design in the same dialogue box which has been utilised by you for beam and column design. What is required that you have to assign command to the plates which are proposed to be designed.
By composite type what I understand that columns may be of concrete and beam may be of steel or vice - versa. Both steel and concrete member may be designed together in a single run. For steel members you will have to assign the steel code and for concrete member you will have to assign concrete code.
With the different conditions I suppose you mean to say the support condition notably fixed, hinge or roller. The roller support may be simulated with "Fixed But " support.

Excuse me, after posting the reply I realised that by support condition you mean to say support for the plates i.e. connection between beam and plate. This type of support can be simulated with plate release option not through the support page.
