I have just tried to assigned the camber option to beam with the default values. I have reffered to technical section and it said that the said command will perform better when it is used with the repeat load case. i tried but i was in vain . it had shown the same value. so my doubt is that what value should i assigned to beam in order to get the results. waiting for the reply. thanks.
Chavada. Do you have lateral load in your load case? Then only you can observe the marked difference in the analysis result obtained from Repeat load than that obtained from load combination. Please see and reply in order that we have a perfect conception of the Imperfection Analysis. Technical Reference manual is meant for our guidance. Many more things are to be explored by the users and shared with each other.
