Dear sir,
I have analysed a shear wall building as per the sketch attached. The building is a symmetrical in x and z also in elevation. I used IS 1893 -2002 code and ESM and I find a lot of difference while checking the base shear calculated manually and compared the STAAD result.
I do not understand where I went wrong.
Somebody like Mr. Chris can help me to know better.
