Hello everybody,
I am having some doubt about the slab orientation in composite slab design tab. the question is that if i want to design the solid slab connected with steel beam then what is to be done should i take the span as spanning between the main beams or between the main and secondary beams. this will result in change in the effective width of slab. in short should i create the slab through whole span or between the amain & secondary beam. waiting for reply.
