i want to know that can we design the castellated beam as composite in staad ?
Composite castellated or cellular beam design is not that uncommon. It is a design feature in RAM Structural System and it's also being incorporated into RAM SBeam (a.k.a. Single Beam) version 5.0. RAM Structural System has CMC Smartbeam and Westok Cellbeam designs available, SBeam has just the CMC product.
just refer the AISC castellated design code and tell whether we can design it or not as composite beam .from my point of view the option include the option which are used for composite beam design. anyone........

Catellated beams with a concrete slab on top cannot be designed as composite beams in STAAD.
I also carried the same view that castellated composite beam can neither be modeled nor designed in staad pro.
