I opened a fully analyzed .rss file in RAM Connection. I selected one of the foundation nodes for baseplate design. So far it has been running for 75 minutes and still has no design. Is this a program issue or a user issue.
The Base Plate design can be a little slow, especially for Gusset Base plates where lots of load combinations are present. There are some plans to make things faster but I don't know the exact details. Here are some tips for the sake of speed.
1. Unselect conditions or combinations that won’t control before assigning the base plate. In particular, do not include the individual cases (DL, LL, EQ, etc).
2. Do one joint at a time.
