Can you please explain how to interpret the element design of the attached files with two different result which is in accordance to the 2008 ACI code. Advice us what area of reinforcement should be use in each case for steel at the top of slab and bottom of slab in both longitudinal and transverse direction.
Unfortunately I am not able to view the attachments ( pictures I guess ) that you attached. On a general note, you may refer to section 3.8.1 of the Technical Reference Manual for details on Element Design. It has some explanation on the longitudinal/transverse moments.
