PROBLEM WHEN IMPORTING LOADS FROM STAAD OFFSHORE TO STAAD PRO

Dear Sir,

I will explain how I do to generate the loads and analyze my structure and explain my problem/

  1. First I do all my geometry with all my load combination of my structure with Staad pro V8.i
  2. Then I open my model with Staad Offsore and I generate the wave loads.
  3. I open with Staad Pro the new model created by Staad Offshore (wave model). I copy the load I need.
  4. I paste the loads in my original Staad Pro model
  5. When I am running my model I received a hundred of warning because Staad pro cannot fully understand the load generate by Staad Offshore. It seems there is a compatibility problem between the two softwre.

Hereafter the warning message:

WARNING: IN UNIFORM MEMBER LOAD. ITEM "f3" NOT PROVIDED FOR MEMBER  4566 CASE   17
"f3" ASSUMED TO BE MEMBER LENGTH =    1.28

Moreover when I compare the global resultant generate with Staad Pro and Staad Offshore I do not get the same results? WHEREAS I have done a copy/paste. See example hereafter (results are closed but different...).

Waiting for your help.

Thanks
