Dear shayan

we are using STAAD pro select series 4 20.07.09.31.

Ct = 0 is applicable only for W sections or all other I sections if we are not cut to T shape.

Ix & Iy not coming correctly as per Section DB manager / database in graphical as highlited in my eariler word. what could be the reason for the problem. can u help us to solve.

The following is the answer for query 2:

If a T shape can be cut from that W shape, then it is the distance along the

local Y axis of the C.G from the top flange.

If a T shape cannot be cut from the W shape, then Ct is considered as zero.
