Staad Pro Licensing issue

We bought 2 number of STAADPro V8i network licenses but now only can use one user at one time. Why? Please help

    Do you have access to the SELECTserver administrative page?

    If so then go to "License Management>Checked out license list" and verify the number of licenses already checked out, in particular the name of the machines where the licenses are checked out.

    If one machine is currently using STAAD.Pro, it should shows there, for one STAAD.Pro license and the Design Codes.

    if there is a machine that is not supposed to use STAAD.Pro, then go on this machine, open the license management tool, under "License checkout tab" and chec the STAAD.Pro licenses back in, not forgeting the Design Codes.

    If there isn't an extra machine indicated there,  go to "License Management>View license file"And check the number of STAAD.Pro licenses.

  • Other license might have been checked out by other user and not checked in upon the termination of STAAD.Pro session.

    Go to, enter your Site ID or Site Activation Key and make sure Account name was displayed correctly. See the list of  CHECKED OUT licenses in License Management menu.
