Dear Colleagues
If I may, I have two questions of concrete plate analysis
1)Can anyone explain why plate moments (MX, MY & MXY) have different values when looking at the (i) the normal *Postprocessing* contour plots MX, MY & MXY and (ii) *Concrete Design* MX, MY & MXY contour plots for a given load combination? The *Concrete Design* contour plots are taken with Wood-Armer switched OFF. Could it be some kind of additional smoothing or sampling going on in *Concrete Design*? All moments values (+/-) are bigger when reported in *Concrete Design*. The shapes of the contours are of course the same but *Concrete Design* has more refined contours. If there's some kind of post-postprocessing made on the plate moments I'd like to know about it.
2)Is the derivation of Wood-Armer moments given anywhere in STAAD manuals?
Thanks and regards
