Reduced Moment Capacity of the EN1993:1:1-2005

Question

Does Staad account for the reduced moment capacity when SF exceed the 0.5 SR (as per 6.2.8), i found some anomaly with it. help please.

There is a validation example on this clause (6.2.8) of the Eurocode:

 Please go through it and let me know the anomaly that you have come across.

The results are not correct because the shear areas in the UC203x203x46TC.upt file are provided as 0. Please calculate the shear area for this section manually and enter it directly into that UPT file instead of 0.0000 values which are currently entered. You may open the UPT file with the Notepad. The results should be reasonable now.
