RAM SS Column Module is Missing some HSS sections

Question

In the RAM Structural System column design module, I would like to select an HSS10x4 section. This section (and a few others) does not appear in the drop down menu in the View/Update command. Is there a specific reason why? If it is indeed an error, how do I add that section to the options?

Just edit the Column Design Table to include a group for the HSS 10x4s. Ram Manager manual, Section 7.5.3 Column Design Tables has details.

The HSS sections in the ramaisc.col table match the sections that are tabulated in Part 4 of the AISC Steel Construction Manual, "Design of Compression Members." As Seth noted, you can add other sections to the table if you wish to use them for column design.
