Hi,
I have a simple model under force and moment loading. I assigned code check per API to that model and requested full detail of output report (Track 2.0).
For the most part, factors that Staad.Pro calculated matches my hand calculation per API RP 2A-WSD. I have all these factors matching my hand calc:
The only thing that I did not get to match is the Qf and capacity information. Further dissecting the term (Qf and capacity), the only term I think that varies is the A, Py and Mp term. May I know how are these calculated?
I think I have already answered the question through a SR. Attached is the STAAD file and the hand calculation validating how Qf is calculated.
