Hello everyone, i just need to know if it's possible to print data about the area of reinforcing steel on the reports that can be made by staad.pro, also if there is a way to show those values the same way it does with bending, shear, deflection, envelope, etc. I mean, when you want to take a picture to include on that report, you have the choice to show those values along with the graphics displayed, for example, max bending, and bending at each end of the beam, i want to do this mostly with reinforced concrete structures, the output file does show most of that info, it even makes a drawing of the beam with the rebars and how many should be used and how to place those reinforcements, but i can't see the same with reports, maybe i'm missing something, or if there's another way to proceed, i would be really grateful for any tips you can give me
The output that you get for concrete design in the analysis output file ( also referred to as batch mode design ) cannot be included as part of the report. You can either directly print out the relevant pages of the analysis output file or you can open the analysis output file ( better make a copy of the .anl file first ) using MS Word and that way get the data into a Word document that can be further edited/formatted.
